Brick by Brick: Keep Up to Date on Police Facility Construction
The City of Northfield debuts a new newsletter to keep residents informed about the construction of the city's new police department building at 1615 Riverview Drive.
Don’t worry if you missed the official groundbreaking of Northfield’s new police facility. The City of Northfield intends to keep you up to date on the construction project.
“Brick by Brick,” a newsletter intended to follow the progress of the nearly $4.8 million facility at 1615 Riverview Drive, debuted in City Administrator Tim Madigan’s memo on Friday.
The first newsletter featured photos from Tuesday’s groundbreaking ceremony, as well as a schedule of construction-related events from the week of June 24.

Future editions of the newsletter will be posted twice a month on the Northfield Public Safety webpage, according to the first newsletter.

On June 25, 2013, the City of Northfield conducted a ceremonial ground breaking on the future site of the new police facility located at 1615 Riverview Drive. Mayor Dana Graham and members of the city council took shovels in hand to signal the beginning of construction. The general contractor, Met-Con, has provided a tentative schedule of construction which is slated for completion in June of 2014.
