On May 8, Bruce had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from the roof of his mouth. This marks the third time he has had cancer and recovered. To help defray the costs of the most recent operation, six bands have agreed to play at The Contented Cow. The event is free with funds raised through free will donations and a cash raffle.
