Burglary And Vehicle Theft Reported In Northfield

Northfield police say an adult male fled on foot before they received a report of a burglary and a vehicle stolen Monday.

NORTHFIELD, MN — At about 12:30 a.m. Monday, Northfield police officers responded to the 1800 block of Aldrich Court for a report of a disturbance. Police say an adult male fled the area on foot. A short time later, officers took a report of a burglary and vehicle stolen from the 1000 block of Prairie Circle.

The vehicle was located and later the subject was located and taken into custody. Officers are still investigating the incident. A charging decision is still pending, police told Patch in an email.
