Come celebrate the legislative successes that bring positive changes for our community. Among them were: Property tax relief: aid restored to cities, counties, and townships as well as direct relief for homeowner, renters, farmers, and small businesses. New spending for education: includes paying back our schools, strengthening mental health training in schools, expands adult learning opportunities, all day Kdg. Much needed increase in funding for long-term care facilities. Our local legislators, Senator Kevin Dahle and Representative David Bly worked hard. Our community wants to say thank you by hosting a picnic-community potluck. Hotdogs, hamburgers, and fixings will be provided compliments of Take Action Minnesota and Cub Foods. Please bring your own beverage and food to share. Those who want are encouraged to meet at the park shelter at 2:00 to spread out, knock on resident's doors, share the good news, and invite them to the picnic. Questions: Call 612-232-3005
