Make Some Wind

1000 Watt Wind Generator - $750

This wind generator is a two blade model, Whisper 1000, acquired in 1999 from World Power Technologies. It was purchased for an off-grid application in Northern Minnesota, but was never installed. It is presently factory pre-wired for 24V, but can also be reconfigured for 12, 30-36, and 48V, as well as several high voltage options.

There are two blades, still in the original bubble wrap, tail piece, cover cone, and manual. The manual includes details on how to build a tilt-up tower, as well as detailed configuration and installation notes. The Whisper 1000 is a 2 blade, ~9ft dia. machine, rated at a nominal 1000 watts.
