Crews To Begin Pouring Concrete on Woodley Street Tuesday

Operations are expected to last overnight and into the early morning hours of Wednesday, Aug. 10.

Construction crews will be on site Tuesday, Aug. 9 to begin pouring the new concrete on Phase 1 and Phase 2A of the Woodley Street Reconstruction Project.

Phase 1 and Phase 2A include Woodley Street from Prairie Street to Maple Street, according to a news release.

As a part of the construction process, crews must "green saw" the new pavement within 12 hours of placement. Green sawing operations are expected to last overnight and into the early morning hours of Wednesday, Aug. 10.

Ryan Contracting of Elko is the prime contractor for the $3.5 million project.
