Marjorie Evelyn Warner was born July 26, 1925, in Shakopee, Minnesota, to Ralph and Emma (Kruger) Warner and was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church. At the age of 12 she moved to the State Hospital in Faribault. In the mid-1970′s, she moved to a group home in St. Paul. Marjorie did various types of work over the years including Kowalski’s Bakery in St. Paul, Federal Reserve Bank in Minneapolis and LeSueur County Developmental Services in Waterville. In 2005, she moved to her current home in Montgomery.Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Joan and David Halvorson of Northfield; 4 nephews and nieces and their families: Mark (Sarah) Halvorson of Eden Prairie, Eric (Anne-Mette) Halvorson of Minneapolis, Kari (Mark) Pendergast of Plymouth and Lisa Silkey of Chaska. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Lois.Marjorie passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 28, 2013, at the New Prague Hospital, at the age of 87.Graveside services were held at Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine with Rev.
