"Snow White" on stage at the Northfield Middle School this weekend

Come join the fun as scores of local young actors take the stage this weekend in Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre’s original musical production of the classic favorite “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”. Performances are at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 17 and at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 18 at the Northfield Middle School Auditorium. The performances are the culmination of a week-long residency by Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre sponsored by Northfield Community Services.
The show promises to be fun for old and young alike, and continues Prairie Fire’s tradition of retelling the classics with a twist. There is a great deal of music, including production numbers featuring The Townspeople and a lot of movement highlighted by the Queen’s Spellbinders and the Forest Creatures. Prairie Fire Theatres’ professional actors, Deidre Cochran and Ryan Schisler, will play the roles of the endearingly, bumbling Huntsman and everyone’s favorite Evil Queen.
Tickets will be available at the door before both shows and are $5 for adults, $3 for students (k – 12th grade) and seniors (55+) and children younger than kindergarten-age are free. For more information, please contact Community Services at (507) 664 3649 or visit www.nfld.k12.mn.us.
