Hockey legend Jim Craig, goaltender for the 1980 USA Gold-winning “Miracle on Ice” Olympic hockey team, will be speaking at a fundraiser for the Northfield Hockey Association on Saturday, September 29th at the Northfield Middle School Auditorium. Mr. Craig will speak briefly to the kids at 10:00 am, followed by a meet-and-greet until 11:45 am. Doors open at 9:00 am. A raffle will be held for an autographed Jim Craig USA Hockey jersey and 2 Jim Craig autographed NHA jerseys.
General admission is $15 per person. No sports memorabilia collectors please.
This event is made possible by an anonymous donor who believes the NHA promotes positive values, athletic achievement and sportsmanship, is a great experience for kids and families, and is an all-around fun program and fabulous resource in the community. The Northfield Hockey Association is open to boys and girls ages 4 – 15, and offers a free Mite program.
