No meetings will be held on May 4 at other regular locations (such as Wayzata and Merriam Park); meetings at the full range of locations will resume in June.
The national guest speaker for the May 4th meetings will be U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) who will give info on his draft legislation to put a price on carbon.

a) Brian Nowak (Wayzata group leader) will be making a technical presentation on how the carbon tax works based on the book "The Case for a Carbon Tax" by Shi-Ling Hsu (one of the keynote speakers at the CCL Int'l Conference June 23-25 in Washington DC). The presentation will include information from the Carbon Tax Center and recent articles from Forbes magazine and other business journals.
b) A presentation about what the 2013 National Climate Assessment says about link between carbon and climate and how our reckless use of fossil fuels threatens our health, our air quality, our water, our forests and our food supply, by Veda Kanitz
c) Plans for the CCL International Conference in Washington DC, June 23 to 25
