Give new life to your favorite old sweaters by turning them into warm, winter mittens! Maybe you’ve seen cute, recycled mittens at craft fairs and thought, “I could do that!” Well here’s your chance, bring in your old, worn-out sweaters (felted, or washed wool works best) and leave with a new pair of mittens. Bring your own sewing machine or sew by hand. Some materials provided. Fees cover the cost of supplies.
Open to ages 6 & up. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. $3 for members; $5 for nonmembers or $10 for nonmember families.
