Two persuasive activists will explain the need for a proposed state constitutional amendment supporting a better way to select and keep fair judges. Their presentation will be followed by questions and discussion.

Sarah Walker, President of the Coalition for Impartial Justice, Chief Operating Officer of 180 Degrees, Inc. and founder of the MN Second Chance Coalition. Walker, a Carleton College graduate, is completing her doctorate in sociology at the University of Minnesota.
Ryan Kelly, Campaign and Finance Director for the Coalition of Impartial Justice. Mr. Kelly is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas. An experienced political campaign manager, consultant, fundraiser and event manager, Kelly has managed major national events.
LWV Minnesota is a member of the Coalition for Impartial Justice, a broad-based coalition of more than 30 businesses, law firms and non-profits supporting passage of the Minnesota Legislature SF1465 and HF1666 Impartial Justice Act, which has bipartisan support.
The meeting is hosted by League of Women Voters, Northfield-Cannon Falls and is free and open to all.
