"Social functions, market challenges, and the development of new technologies"
The Cuban literary critic and editor, Modesto Milanés-Soria will visit us from Havana to discuss the editorial politics that shape the publishing industry in Cuba, as well as the country ́s efforts to conciliate these politics within the requirements for economic realization. With a brief analysis based on statistics from 2009-2011, Milanés-Soria will discuss the editorial market ́s influence over the consumers behavior and the possible changes in these habits with the advance of new technologies.
