The Northfield community is invited to come together for prayer on the 62nd National Day of Prayer. The theme for this year's event is "Prayer for America", inspired by Matthew 12:21 which reminds us that "In His Name the nations will put their hope".
Tickets for the buffet breakfast are abailable for $9.00 at Bittersweet Cafe and Quality Bakery. Breakfast will begin at 6:30 am, with the program to begin at 7:00 am.
This year's featured guest speaker will be David Christian, a familiar voice of the Twin Cities radio. He has co-hosted several Christian radio programs, including "Sonrise", "CrossTrax", "Reality Radio", and "The Drive with Daves". He has also provided the voice for numerous radio and TV commercials and entertained on WLOL, KTIS, KDWB, KS95 and KOOL 108 radio.

Some of the other partipants in the program include: Pastor Mark Johnson, Jim Prichard, Mayor Dana Graham, Pastor Janet White, Jack Hoschouer, Brett Reese, Mary Quinn Crow, Doug Bengtson, Brian and Jodi Erickson, Alice Oleson, Sam Gett, Noah Sanders, Greg Pierece and Rory Groves. Worship will be lead by Pat Shelby and Steph Helkenn.
This event promises to be encouraging and edifying as well as a great way to observe the National Day of Prayer.
