Using a simple no-knead recipe, we will make focaccia and other savory breads as well as sweet breads using easily found ingredients. We will experiment with different flours and learn how to adjust the recipe to accommodate what is available to us. The class will meet as a whole Friday night to mix up the dough. Saturday morning starting at 10 am we will meet in smaller staggered groups to bake. Participants will go home with several samples of fresh baked bread. Remaining bread will be served at the Earth Day Celebration. Instructor: Maureen Hark.
