“Seeing is Knowing: The Universe”

Carleton College will host a series of events on Monday, Oct. 3 and Tuesday, Oct. 4 in conjunction with “Seeing is Knowing: the Universe,” a fascinating exhibit in the College’s new Perlman Teaching Museum in the Weitz Center for Creativity. All events are free and open to the public.

Noted “experimental geographer” Trevor Paglen will deliver a presentation at 6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 3 in the cinema at the Weitz Center for Creativity, followed by stargazing in nearby Central Park at 7:30 p.m. The Gould Library will then host a dialogue featuring Paglen, Carleton astronomy professor Joel Weisberg, and Perlman Museum curator Laurel Bradley beginning at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

For more information about this event, including disability accommodations, contact Perlman Museum director and curator Laurel Bradley at (507) 222-4342.
