Wet felting is the process of combining layers of wool into felt fabric, using only soap, water, and agitation. In this class you will learn the very basics of wet felting, from how to choose the fibers, to how to lay them out, felt, and full them into both flat and 3-D items. Instructor Laura Heiman will lead participants through making a beautiful multi-colored scarf and a felted ball from hand-dyed merino wool. All supplies included. Come prepared to get wet - it's not a tidy process! For ages 12 and up.
