First performed in 458 BC, Aeschylus's Oresteia is one of the earliest surviving complete plays in the history of theater. This new adaptation by Northfield poet Rob Hardy will help to inaugurate the first season of the new theater in Carleton College's new Weitz Center for Creativity. The production, directed by Ruth Weiner, includes music by composer Mary Ellen Childs and dance by the Semaphore Dance Company. The public is cordially invited to attend this free event.
