Fourth Street East to Close in Northfield
A portion of Fourth Street East in Northfield will close next week. Read about the detour here.
Fourth Street East between Union Street and Winona Street will be closed starting at 6:00 a.m. on
Monday Jan. 30 and Tuesday, Jan. 31, city officials announced Thursday. The closure is due to work related to the Carleton College Music and Performance Commons Project.
A detour will be posted utilizing Winona Street, Third Street, and Union Street to route traffic around the work area.

Northfield city officials urge motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones, and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
