WRITERS! FREE WRITING WORKSHOPS TO BE
HELD AT THE NORTHFIELD PUBLIC Library BY AUTHOR AND TEACHER
ROSANNE BANE.
Rosanne Bane has been teaching writers at the Loft Literary Center for
almost twenty years. In that time, she
has refined her methods, built upon solid brain science, and recently distilled
it all in her book Around the Writer’s Block: Using Brain Science to Solve Writer’s
Resistance.Her methods have helped all kinds of creative people, whether it’s creative
writing, someone working on a new painting or writing a market plan. She
will be offering two 2 hour workshops using her book on
Friday, September 27, from 10:00
a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Northfield
Public Library.

The first
workshop, Getting Started, from 10
to 12:00, will show you how
to launch your writing and introduce you to the habits that will sustain your
writing.
The second workshop, The Creative Process, from 12:30 to 2:30, will cover the six
stages of the creative process, and what “writing” looks like in each
stage. There will be a half hour lunch
break between workshops, when Roseanne will do book signings.

The workshops are free to
participants, through funding from the Friends and Foundation of the Northfield
Public Library. However, space is
limited, and participants must
preregister. You may register for one or both
workshops. Call the library reference
