Get a Taste of Student Art at Art a la Carte

There’s still time this evening to fill your senses with fine art.

’s 12th annual continues until 8 p.m. today at the high school.

During the first hour of the event—which kicked off at 5 p.m.—crowds of Northfield school district students, their parents and residents meandered through the dozens of displays, working student-artists and hands-on arts stations set up in the hallways and cafeteria of the high school. And for those participants requiring a moment of relaxation, students musicians performed orchestral pieces in the lower cafeteria.

Admission to this evening’s event is $2. T-shirts also are available for purchase.
