Let me introduce myself. My name is Jane Murakami. When my niece was little, my name used to be "Auntie-Jane-Know-What". Now that I have returned to Northfield, my name should be "Jane-Murakami-yes-I-am-Yosh's-kid". I am blogging to introduce the business I have just started. It is called Golden Years Planning, a coordination service of resources for people exploring aging options. If you or a loved one have started thinking about transitions that lie ahead but are unsure of what services are available, Golden Years Planning may be of assistance.
As your Coordinator, I will meet with you to find out your areas of concern, then search through my database and on the internet to find agencies that are providing services in the area where you or your loved one lives (or wants to live). Some of the services may include Homemaker's services, Home Health Aides or more comprehensive, such as Assisted Living arrangements. My search will be tailored to your specific needs. After contacting the agency to determine what services meet your needs, I will find out the costs, methods of payment and a contact person. This information will be detailed for you in a written report which will enable you to make educated choices about your options.
