I-90 Reopens In South-Central Minnesota
Other highway segments are steadily reopening after Sunday's blizzard.

MANKATO, MN — Interstate 90 east and westbound lanes are open from Fairmont to Highway 109 at Alden. I-90 from west of Fairmont opened around 8 a.m. today, Monday, Feb. 25, according to officials at the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Driving conditions will remain poor and motorists need to drive for conditions.
I-90 traffic will also be able to use the eastbound lanes to Albert Lea. However, all of I-90 east of Albert Lea to Rochester as well as I-35 south of Owatonna to Albert Lea remains closed until further notice by the MnDOT Rochester office.

Numerous other state highway segments have opened and the no travel advisories have been removed in south central Minnesota since MnDOT plows went out early Monday morning, according to a news release.
