With four and a half minutes left in the game against visiting Farmington, it looked like Northfield was on their way to their second straight home loss to start the season.

But up 27-13, the Tigers had a bad snap in the end zone, which was recovered by Northfield for a touchdown. Following the successful extra point attempt, the Raiders recovered an onside kick and drove down the field in the final minutes of the game, trailing by seven points.

Unfortunately, after a couple attempts at the end zone, the Raiders gave up the ball on fourth down with 46 seconds left in the game and moved to 0-2 on the season and suffered their first conference loss.

Northfield next plays 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at New Prague.
