Kurt B. Hornnes died on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was 58.
Hornnes was a well-known chiropractor in Northfield. Outside of work, he was an avid softball player and a family man, according to the obituary published in the Star Tribune.
"Kurt cherished the time he got to spend with his family, and never fell short of giving all those around him all of the love he had to offer," his family writes.
He leaves behind his wife, Sheri; children, Jamie, Jessie, Brittney, Robert, Christopher; niece, Christine, and many friends.
A service for Hornnes will be held at noon on Saturday, Sept. 7, at the House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 7625 Chicago Avenue South in Richfield. Visitation will take place an hour before the service at the church. Memorials preferred.
