Mental Health Collective Jam Session - The Paradox of Choice

The Rice County Mental Health Collective’s promotion team announces its next upcoming jam session – “The Paradox of Choice; We think more choice is a good thing … but is it??”  Based on research from the book “The Paradox of Choice” by Barry Schwartz, this program will explore how having more choices is not always a good thing.  Having too many choices has been proven to be detrimental to your psychological and emotional well-being.  Learning how to manage your options and make better decisions can lead to more satisfaction and less regret. This program is open to all interested individuals in Northfield & Faribault.  The Faribault program will be held at District One Hospital’s lower level classrooms on Tuesday, October 8 from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m.; the Northfield program will take place on Thursday, October 10, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Northfield Community Resource Center, 1651 Jefferson Parkway.
