Explosion at Minnesota Truck Plant Injures 6: Report

At least six people were injured in an explosion at a truck manufacturing plant near Rochester Wednesday. The explosion took place at McNeilus Truck Manufacturing in Dodge Center, Minnesota.

Two employees were airlifted to hospitals with serious injuries while two more were taken to hospitals via ambulance. Two other workers were treated for minor injuries at the scene.

KAALTV reported that authorities established a command center at the site. No fatalities have been reported in the incident.

Dodge County Sheriff Scott Rose told KARE 11 the explosion happened in a paint building on the McNeilus complex. The explosion appears to have occurred in a paint booth and damaged or blew off at least two doors.
