MnDOT Keeps Close Watch On Highways 19, 93 For Flooding
Never drive on a flooded road. Motorists should plan accordingly.

MANKATO — The Minnesota Department of Transportation advises motorists that Highway 19 from Henderson to Highway 169 has a high probability of closing on Tuesday, Sept. 25 with the current river forecast.
It is unknown at this time whether Highway 93 from Henderson to Highway 169 will need to be closed. MnDOT says crews will do what they can to keep traffic safe and moving.
Highway 93 closed on Friday due to flooding from the Rush River, but crews were able to open the roadway on Sunday.

When a road is closed it is illegal to travel in that area. Motorists can be fined up to $1,000 or 90 days in jail. If travelers need to be rescued from a closed road, other expenses and penalties will apply.
