NASCAR’s Martin Truex Jr. Appears at Local NAPA Store

The appearance of the Sprint Cup racer was part of the Northfield's business' grand reopening event.

NAPA Auto Parts in Northfield couldn’t have picked a better week to celebrate its recent expansion.

The man at the centerpiece of the business’ grand reopening event on Thursday night—Martin Truex Jr.—won last weekend’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race at the Sonoma Raceway. And, he was one of the favorites to win this Saturday’s NASCAR race in Kentucky.

Truex, who drives the NAPA No. 56 car on the Sprint Cup circuit, posed for photos and signed autographs in the local NAPA store’s new receiving garage. Hanging from the rafters of the garage were flags sporting pictures of Truex and his NAPA car, as well as his car number.
