Northfield Boys Hockey Comes Back, Ties Farmington 2-2

Andrew Scofield and Colton Woodruff tallied goals for the Raiders.

The Northfield Raiders boys hockey team on Thursday tied Farmington at the midpoint of the third period, but were unable to complete the comeback for the win.

Hosting the Tigers at the , the Raiders had to settle for its first tie of the season, putting their record at 8-5-1.

Colton Woodruff tied the game 32 seconds after the Tigers took a 1-0 lead early in the first period. Taylor Freiermuth assisted.

Raiders leading scorer Andrew Scofield knotted the game at 2-2 on a power play goal with about eight minutes left in the game. Woodruff and Cody Colegrove assisted.

Goalie Isaak Tjaden made 33 saves.

The Raiders next play 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Academy of Holy Angels.
