VIDEO: Northfield Boys Hockey Lose to Holy Angels 4-0
In a fast-paced game, the Stars got the edge over the Raiders.
In what has to be considered one of the more intense games of the season for the Northfield boys varsity hockey team, the Raiders lost to the Academy of Holy Angels 4-0 Tuesday night at the Northfield Ice Arena.
Despite going scoreless, Northfield managed 26 shots, including several solid chances on Stars netminder Brett Pierce.
And despite four goals by Holy Angels, the most exciting part of the game happened eight minutes into the first period.

As Northfield carried the puck through the neutral zone, Raiders forward Alex Knight was checked, fell backwards, and put his right skate through a panel of glass, shattering it. The game stopped for about 20 minutes as the panel was replaced.
The Stars scored three times in the second period and added an insurance goal in the fourth.
