Northfield Election Results 2016: Challenger Upsets Incumbent Mayor Dana Graham

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Rhonda Pownell has defeated incumbent Northfield Mayor Dana Graham in the race for the city’s top representative spot in Tuesday’s election.
“I’m humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve such an amazing city,” Pownell told Northfield News. “I’m really excited about building a highly collaborative council and jump starting the strategic planning process.” It was Pownell's second time running for the mayoral seat in Northfield.
As for ward seats, Brad Ness, David DeLong, and Erica Zweifel won contested races to join the Northfield City Council.
