Northfield Gymnastics Finishes Second at State Meet

Northfield's two-time defending Class AA state champion gymnastics team couldn't make it a three-peat Friday night at the University of Minnesota's Sports Pavilion.

The Raiders finished second out of eight teams Friday night; Roseville, who , finished first.

Northfield finished with a score of 149.150 on Friday. Roseville won with a score of 149.325.

St. Cloud Tech finished third with a score of 147.475.

Bailey DuPay led the effort for Northfield with a score of 9.650 on the floor exercise and 9.800 on the uneven bars.

Sveta Mason received a score of 9.725 on the uneven bars, while Meagan Howell received a score of 9.700 on the balance beam.
