Northfield Heritage Preservation Commission Celebration

The HPC will celebrate the downtown business district and commemorate the anniversary of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966.

Members of the community are invited to join Northfield’s Heritage Preservation Commission (HPC) at a reception before the October 4th City Council meeting.

It is an occasion to welcome back previous HPC members, greet current community members, and celebrate Carole Zellie’s new, updated survey of the properties in and surrounding Northfield’s Historic District.

The HPC wishes to celebrate the new information on the downtown business district and to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, according to a news release.
