Mayor Graham, members of the City Council, City Administrator Tim Madigan, Police Chief Monte Nelson and the entire staff at the Northfield Police Department welcome the public to conduct business at our new Police Department located at 1615 Riverview Drive, Northfield.
The Police Department will be open for business at 8 am on Monday, June 23. Normal office hours are 8am-5pm Monday – Friday. All Police Department functions will entirely move out of the Public Safety Center. The Fire Department will continue operating out of the Safety Center.
Effective June 23, 2014, you can conduct the following business at the Police Department:

- Pay parking tickets, access other forms and reports.
- “Take it to the Box”, Rice County’s medicine safety program. The actual Box will need some re-adjustment after the move. Call (507) 645-4477 to make sure the Box is ready for your old prescriptions.
- Obtain a solicitor’s permit.
- Fingerprints (with an appointment).
The public will be invited to an Open House at a later date.
