Northfield Police Find Man Who Left Hospital Shoeless and in Scrubs

The Northfield Police Department called upon several agencies last week to assist in the search for a man who left the Northfield Hospital.

Northfield police located a missing man about an hour after he left the Northfield Hospital without shoes and in just hospital scrubs last week. The Northfield Police Department called upon the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP), Dakota County, Scott County and the Northfield Area Fire and Rescue Services to assist in the search.

Northfield News reported that authorities set up a perimeter whileMSP conducted heat motion sensor search via helicopter.

Police said the man turned himself voluntarily and Northfield police transported him back to Northfield Hospital.
