Northfield Football's Defense, Cody Fugate Come Up Big Against Albert Lea
Led by three rushing touchdowns from Cody Fugate, the team won 28-6 over Albert Lea on Tuesday night at Memorial Field.

Led by three rushing touchdowns from , the No. 3 seeded beat No. 6 seed Albert Lea 28-6 on Tuesday night at in Section 1AAAA tournament play.
The Tigers' lone score came on a long run from Makael Lunning in the third quarter and was followed by a failed extra point attempt.

The Raiders' defense was strong, especially after it all but put an end to a Tiger comeback when they forced a fumble in the third quarter and Raider Tim Maus picked up the ball and returned it for a 45-yard touchdown. Fugate added his third touchdown in the fourth quarter.
With the win, the Raiders head to Red Wing for a 7 p.m. game on Saturday. No. 2 seed Red Wing beat No. 7 seed Austin 24-6 on Tuesday.

The Raiders (2-6 in the regular season) lost at Red Wing 14-7 in September.
