Northfield's DuPay Leads State Diving
The Northfield ninth-grader is first in diving after semifinals at the state meet.
led the Class A 1-meter diving competition after the preliminaries and semifinal rounds in the 2011 Minnesota state championships on Thursday.
DuPay had a score of 277.60 after the first five of eight dives. The diving finals will be held Saturday, starting at noon.
This year's state meet takes place at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center on the Minneapolis campus.

The Class A swimming preliminaries begin at noon Friday, followed by the Class AA swimming preliminaries at 6 p.m. The Class A championship finals in all events begin at noon Saturday, followed by the Class AA finals at 6 p.m.
