Northfield Middle School's student-run bookstore, The Tattered Pages, is accepting donations for the annual Holiday Shopping Extravaganza.

Northfield Middle School’s student-run bookstore, The Tattered Pages, is now accepting donations for the upcoming tenth annual Holiday Shopping Extravaganza. The Holiday Shopping Extravaganza kicks off on Friday, December 16. Donations are welcome at the middle school, according to a news release.
Needed donations include:
- Gently used books for all ages
- All types of appropriate multi-media, including VHS tapes, DVDs, video games, CDs, etc. (in their original packaging)
- Gently used household gift items, such as picture frames, paper weights, stuffed animals, candles, jewelry boxes, candy dishes, games and puzzles
- Gift wrap, bows, tissue paper, bags, etc.
The bookstore provides an opportunity for middle school students to purchase holiday gifts for everyone on their holiday list without spending actual money. Students earn coupons in a variety of ways, such as by doing jobs around the middle school like washing tables, picking up trash outside, and weeding the lawn in the spring.
The extravaganza will include free gift wrapping.
