Northfield Swimming Wins Section True Team Crown

The Northfield girls swimming and diving team advanced to the Class A True Team state meet by winning the Section 1A event on Saturday at .

The Gators finished the meet with 1,833 points. Mankato West finished with 1,530 points to take second place and qualified for the state meet via one of four available wild card spots. The two squads will represent Section 1A at the state meet on Thursday at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.

Northfield showed off its depth throughout the meet, finishing with four first-place finishes, four second-place finishes, three third-place finishes and five fourth-place finishes. Below is a list of the team’s top finishers from the event.
