Not a Typical Day at the Beach for a Sheriff’s Deputy

Here is a sample of what was found in this week’s newsletter:

Deputy Tim Fletcher was sitting in a van at Schulze Beach in Eagan working a plainclothes detail when a car with three individuals pulled in next to him. Deputy Fletcher watched as the driver held up a baggie of marijuana to show off to his passengers, as well as Deputy Fletcher. A short time later, Tim introduced himself to the three individuals. A further search of the car revealed 200 tablets of Ritalin, along with a scale, marijuana pipes, and a grinder. A juvenile in the car admitted to owning the tablets, but did not have a prescription for them. He was taken into custody and the others were cited on possession charges.
