The Rice Cty. Commissioners will vote on a new 1/2% sales tax next Tuesday, Sept. 10th. The meeting will be at the Government Services Bldg., 320 NW Third St. in Faribault. Meeting starts at 8:30, with this topic scheduled for 9 a.m. We already have a new wheelage tax just imposed on us. Let's not have higher taxes than Burnsville or Apple Valley - people won't shop here!
