Comfortable temperatures and sunny skies greeted the scores of folks who visited the in Saturday.

Unlike previous weeks when residents melted in 90-plus degree temperatures, those attending Saturday’s market were able to shop the arts, vegetable, baked goods and refreshment tents without breaking a sweat.

The market fair, a weekly open-air market in downtown Northfield, offers, according to its website, “locally grown produce, artisan foods, and a juried selection of art work.” It is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday through Oct. 27, except for Defeat of Jesse James Days weekend.
