PHOTOS: Northfield Raiders Cross Country Teams Finish Third, Fourth at Shakopee Invitational

Kaia Bierman places third for the girls and Sam Fox places fifth for the boys.

The   traveled to Shakopee for the Shakopee Invitational on Tuesday. The invite had a total of 12 teams at the varsity level.

The Northfield boys placed third and the girls placed fourth in the team competitions. There were 69 competitors in the girls race and 93 in the boys race.

Kaia Bierman placed third overall and was the girls team leader with a time of 15:15.6. Other individual finishes were:

  • Maria Olson 13th (16:16.9)
  • Marissa Thornton 15th (16:25.0)
  • Hannah Sayner 41st (17:18.4)
  • Annie DeSutter 48th (17:48.5)
  • Sam Womeldorf 55th (18:32.4)

Sam Fox was the top finisher for the Raiders, placing fifth with a time of 17:37.5. Other individual finishes were:

  • Andrew Wilson 8th (17:42.4)
  • Corbin Godfrey 16th (18:08.9)
  • Christian Vosejpka 32nd (18:28.9)
  • Logan Regnier 35th (18:31.9)
  • Will Olstad 57th (19:09.3)
  • Connor Rohwer 71st (19:35.7)
