Friday was a good day for the Northfield Raiders varsity baseball team as Adam Carpenter took to the hill.

Carpenter threw a solid game, leading the team to a 10-1 win over visiting Waseca.

The win moves Northfield to 9-7 on the season. The Raiders next play 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at home against New Prague.
