PHOTOS: Northfield's Nygren, Meyers Compete At State Alpine Skiing Meet

sophomore Max Nygren took home a top-25 finish Wednesday at the state alpine skiing meet in Biwabik.

Nygren finished 22nd overall in the event with a combined two-run time of 1:10.7. His first run was 36.54 seconds long, followed by a 34.42 showing in the second run.

Junior Megan Meyers finished 41st overall in the girls state meet. She had a first run of 40.72 seconds and a second run of 41.91 seconds for a combined two-run time of 1:22.6.

St. Thomas Academy’s Dylan Thomas won the boys meet with a 1:07.0 performance, while Bloomington Jefferson’s Brenna Murray won the girls at 1:13.4.
