It wasn't how the Northfield softball team wanted to end the season.

The Raiders were downed by Chaska 10-2 on Thursday in the final regular season game of the year. The home loss was the sixth loss in the past seven games for the Raiders and left them 10-10 on the season.

Northfield will get a few days to rest until the section tournament starts Wednesday.
