About 150 people gathered together on Sunday for the sixth annual Scandinavian Midsommar in Way Park.

About 150 people gathered together on Sunday night to celebrate the sixth annual Scandinavian Midsommar in .

Folks picnicked, made wreathers and danced. Nordic-style hot dogs and ice cream were served and The Singing Strings, a youth fiddling group from the Evergreen School of Performing Arts in Edina, performed at the event.

Hütenänny also played music and there was a midsommar processional and raising of the maypole.

The event was hosted by the Friends of Way Park, Northfield Swedish Club and Sons of Norway.
