911 Service Disruption After Line Cut: Rice County
Rice County authorities say there is a fiber line cut that may have an impact on 911 phone lines in the area.
NORTHFIELD, MN — The Rice County Sheriff’s Office is advising the public that there is a fiber line cut that may have a potential impact on 911 phone lines. It could have an impact several counties in Southeastern Minnesota, including Rice County.
Technicians are enroute to repair the line, according to a new release. If you are within Rice County and you have an emergency and need to call 911, but your call does not go through, hang up and call the Rice County Sheriff’s Office at (507) 334-4391 for assistance.
