Pre-festival activities for the Vintage Band Festival are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon and festival. The festival begins “for real” on Thursday and runs through Sunday
Each day of the festival, Northfield Patch will feature a schedule of events and other helpful information for residents and visitors who plan to attend. We also will post photos and videos of performances here and on our Facebook page.

WEDNESDAY’S PERFOMANCE SCHEDULE
• 12-12:50 p.m.—Lunch, Listen, and Learn #1: Original Drachenfelser Musikanten, Contented Cow Pub, Northfield• 3-3:50 p.m.—Medevi Brunnsorkester (Sweden), Archer House Riverfront Gazebo, Northfield
• 7-7:50 p.m.—Medevi Brunnsorkester (Sweden), Grace Lutheran Church, Nerstrand
• 8-8:50 p.m.—Eine Kleine Dorfmusik Kapelle (Austria), Contented Cow Pub, Northfield
• 8-8:50 p.m.—Original Drachenfesler Musikanten (Germany), J. Grundy’s Rueb’n'Stein, Northfield
USEFUL INFORMATION
• WHAT IS THE VINTAGE BAND FESTIVAL—The Vintage Band Festival is a four-day international music event that celebrates the music and the instruments of past eras. More than 30 bands from across Minnesota and around the world will perform roughly 100 concerts at venues in and around Northfileld.• ADMISSION—Admission to the concerts will be free, but donations will be accepted to offset expenses. Tickets for several special events—Lunch, Listen and Learn events at the Contented Cow on July 31-Aug. 3, German Food and Music at the Northfield Senior Center on Aug. 4, 19th Century Cotillion Ball at the Northfield Armory on Aug. 3 and the Vaudeville Entertainment and Silent Moving Pictures show on Aug. 4—are available at the festival headquarters in Bridge Square.
